Lokafyer Profile: Diego from Quebec City

1. Hi Diego! Tell us a bit about yourself! 

I'm Brazilian, Canadian and Uruguayan born in Costa Rica. I have been living in Quebec City since 2012. I also lived in the UK way back in the '90s for 5 years to pursue my graduation. I have lots of friends from all different parts of the world. I speak 3 languages and a half.

2. Why did you decide to join Lokafy?

I joined Lokafy after a saw a post on Facebook. I had some spare time and I wanted to make good use of my free time. Also, I found your idea, to show my city to visitors through the eyes of a local, really cool.

3. What do you love most about your city? 

I love Quebec City because it has a lot of history. Beautiful views, very safe, clean and has a lot to offer. There are events that take place throughout the year which is amazing too! 

4. If someone comes to visit you, where would you take them to eat? 

Quebec City has many restaurants, each one has its own unique style. My favorites are Ophelia, Sam, La Belle et la boeuf, Batutto, Paillard to name a few. However, everybody must eat poutine! 

5. What do you do for fun? 

I love doing different things. I love hiking, cycling, taking photos and also listening to live music.
