Planning your Cyprus Adventure:
In order for you to enjoy Cyprus and all of its wonders, there are several things that you have to take into account when planning your trip! First of all, thinking about the weather is crucial, because prices and activities available may vary. You’ll see that the recommended time to travel is before or after the peak summer heat (that would be May and June or September and October), when it isn’t uncomfortably hot, but it is warm enough to swim. During this time, there’s less people, so attractions and beaches aren’t as crowded. Now, it is important to note that if you’re dying to party in Cyprus, then maybe summer time would be perfect for you, because the crowds have the same objective as you: dancing the night away. For a more cultural trip, you can think about visiting during late spring or early fall, when cultural festivals happen.
Can you think of anything better than swimming in this crystal clear waters with the warmth of summer in your skin?
Something crucial as well is to remember that Cyprus is divided into a Greek and Turkish side, and its capital, Nicosia is the only divided capital of the world. Even though the Greek side is the most visited, the Turkish part is also an incredible destination that you shouldn’t miss. Also, seeing both sides will allow you to understand the history of Cyprus in a profound way and comprehend the complexity of the coexistence between the Turkish and Greek side of the island. Perhaps we didn’t give you much clues about what exactly to visit in Cyprus (but give us some time and wait for another blog on that!) but you know the basics: when to visit and to visit both sides of the island for a complete experience.
